Location. Located in the city center of Beijing, China, the Warwick International hotel provides apartment style accommodations less than six kilometers from Tiananmen Square. The Forbidden City, a walled area that features the palaces of 24 emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties, lies adjacent to the square.
Guests are also three kilometers from Pearl Market and Panjiayuan Market. Xiushui Market, also known as Silk Valley market, boasts a vast collection of quality knock off clothing, watches and bags and can be found four kilometers away. The World Trade Center stands five kilometers from the hotel, and Sanlitun, a popular bar street, stretches out eight kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The 24 hour front desk can provide currency exchange, dry cleaning services and room service. The hotel also houses a business center and fitness area.
Guestrooms. The 150 guestrooms at the six story Warwick International contain satellite television, coffeemakers, complimentary toiletries, desks, direct dial telephones, complimentary high speed Internet access, kitchenettes, microwave ovens and refrigerators.
Expert Tip. The southern part of Sanlitun, which used to feature an extensive array of bars, has lost most of its popularity after several of its smaller bars were demolished in 2005. Guests should head to the northern part of the street, which now flourishes with activity.
